Dyrham Park

Dyrham Park is a National Trust property. It was built by the architect Thomas Prowse and it is situated in the outskirts of Bristol, England.
The first mention of Dyrham Park dates back to 1207. The estate was bought in 1732 by Sir James Thynne, who commissioned Thomas Prowse to build the house in 1751-1752.
Dyrham Park has been a military base since 1806 and it has been used as a training ground for soldiers during World War II.
